    Ice-therapy

    ice- therapy — also called cold therapy or cryotherapy — involves applying ice or a cold pack to the body to reduce pain, swelling, and inflammation. It’s one of the simplest and most effective home remedies for acute injuries.

    Here are the main benefits of ice therapy:

    🧊 1. Reduces Inflammation and Swelling

    • Cold constricts blood vessels (vasoconstriction), which limits blood flow to the affected area.
       
    • This helps reduce fluid accumulation (swelling) after injuries such as sprains, strains, or bruises.
       

    ❄️ 2. Numbs Pain

    • The cold temperature numbs nerve endings, decreasing the transmission of pain signals to the brain.
       
    • Provides temporary pain relief for acute injuries, muscle soreness, or even chronic conditions like arthritis.
